Data Driven Protection
People are central to every organization and their risks, but how do you solve the puzzle of WHO they are and what are their vulnerabilities?
On average, companies spend 4-7% of their revenue on Information Technology and 13.2% of that on cybersecurity, but what do they spend on people? Malicious actors have and always will target and exploit people. These attacks translate into common corporate challenges such as threats/acts of violence against their executives, talent acquisition/retention, intellectual property theft/loss, and third-party relationships…all of which can expose a company to BILLIONS (of dollars) in losses. Traditional solutions have blindspots, until now, and that’s why we started Prae.
The Threat Landscape Is Constantly Evolving, But People Remain Constant

prae-
Pronounced “pre”. A word-forming element meaning "before," from Latin prae (adv.)
Be Digitally Aware
Exploitation of people are rapidly on the rise due to the explosion of Publicly Available Information such as social media postings and data breaches. The application of AI will further accelerate attacks.
Prae is an AI data analytics company, purpose built to protect people. No intrusive endpoints. No access to sensitive HR data. We transform billions of public records into digital identities and AI risk models, empowering enterprises to tackle these problems at both speed and scale.
Prae is the only platform built to predict, continuously monitor, and prevent the nexus of physical, cyber, and psychological behavior risks.
Current Industry Solutions vs. Historical Challenges
Industry solutions to threats or violence against executives, talent acquisition and retention, IP theft/loss, and third-party relationships all share a common blindspot, entity resolution and more specifically, a lack of. This is the process of identifying, consolidating, and correlating disparate records that refer to the same real-world entity. Without solving this blindspot, then companies cannot fully understand their risks.
Entity resolution and protection of the public figure are dependent upon employee’s willingness to fully disclose personal information. Risk is only visible and manageable to what’s disclosed.
Entity resolution is susceptible to identity mix-up, incomplete and/or outdated records, and jurisdictional limitations, all of which are a time-consuming process. Risk is a singular snapshot in time due to a lack of continuous monitoring.
Entity resolution is critical to triaging Data Loss Protection (DLP) and User Activity Monitoring (UAM) alerts and determining if the user action/behavior is benign vs. a violation. Contextualizing the actions and behaviors is also difficult without understanding an employee’s motive.
TRPM is also referred to as supply-chain risk management. Entity analytics are absent as risk assessment is focused on regulatory/compliance, business operations, financials, and digital where digital is focused on inventory of IT systems, security tools, etc.
